From a young age, Aaron Carty was always fascinated with music and the drums. Progressing from couch pillows, he received his first drum set at age 6. During his teen years he played alongside his older brother Adam (guitar) and younger brother Isaac (bass). The three formed the Carty Trio.

Aaron kept up with his musical studies through high school and college and graduated Musicians Institute in 2016, receiving his Certificate in Drum Performance. Aaron also released his first album "Moving Through Time" later that year.

In 2018, Aaron moved to Santa Barbara, CA and joined Bombafiya, a reggae/rock band. The band played over 100 live shows that year, and was awarded Best Reggae Band in Ventura County at the 2019 Ventura County Music Awards.

Later that year, Aaron moved to Nashville, TN and was the Drummer for Alternative Rock Band  Everything Falls and Blues/Rock band The 44 Blues. Aaron also released an instrumental EP "Across Country".

In 2022, Aaron moved back to the Santa Barbara area where he currently resides.
